An original antique French embroidered handkerchief dating from the 19th century.
The muslin is extremely fine & the tambour embroidery is really pretty with a scalloped edge. It has the name Augustine to one corner.
There is some faint yellowing, a small hole to one corner (last image) & a pin head sized hole as shown.
