A lovely antique embossed paper picture of a geranium.
Made by Henry Dobbs, an ornamental stationer to royalty in the 19th century, known for his high quality embossed paper designs used in various fashionable items like face screens, writing papers & visiting cards. The firm also produced embossed papers for artistic purposes, allowing artists to add their own designs using watercolours.
This example has been hand coloured with watercolours.
